Q. What is Happy Note Mosaic?
A. We create a single image (PNG) where each day is one colored tile. Colors come from emotion analysis of your journal words, so you can see your life’s record as art. See the home page for samples and pricing.
Q. What is Happy Note? How does it relate to Mosaic?
A. Happy Note is a gratitude journaling app (iOS / Android). For Mosaic orders from Happy Note users, we use your backup file (.bak). Download and backup steps are on our Happy Note page.
Q. Can I order if I don’t use Happy Note?
A. Yes. We also accept other digital diaries (text / export formats) and paper journals (scanning / digitization). Pricing varies by format and volume. Check pricing on the home page, then email us to discuss.
Q. What file do I need for a Happy Note order?

Q. Will anyone read my diary?
A. Sean does not read your journal. Coloring is done by automated emotion analysis and software. You may remove sensitive passages before sending. See Privacy & data handling on the home page.
Q. How are the mosaic colors chosen?
A. We analyze pleasant vs. unpleasant emotion in each day’s words and map them to colors. Mint often means no entry or a quiet day; green suggests calm/positive stability; yellow–gold pleasant tones; blue–purple unpleasant tones (e.g. anxiety, sadness). A color legend is on the home page.
Q. What is the difference between Standard and Metallic?
A. Both use the same underlying data; the finish (visual tone) differs. Standard is calmer; Metallic is brighter with a glossy feel. You choose one finish per order. Compare samples on the home page.
Q. How much does it cost? Is there a campaign?
A. We are in a soft-open campaign (50% off regular prices). From Happy Note (.bak): from ¥15,000 incl. tax; other digital diaries: from ¥30,000 incl. tax; print/paper: quote on request. Final price is confirmed after we review your data.
Q. How long does production take?
A. Typically about 1–2 weeks after we receive your data, depending on volume and format. We email you a schedule before we start. Rush requests may be possible—ask us.
Q. What payment methods do you accept?
A. We currently arrange payment by email on a case-by-case basis. We are expanding options including JPYC and other crypto-friendly checkout. Contact us for the latest.
Q. What is the order process?
A. (1) Email us and tell us your record type. (2) Send your data (.bak, etc.). (3) We run emotion analysis and processing, then deliver your mosaic PNG. See How it works on the home page.
Q. Can I get a print or framing?
A. Print / paper / size are quoted individually. Digital-only delivery (PNG) is also fine. Tell us your wishes by email.
Q. Can I return or cancel?
A. Digital delivery is generally non-refundable after delivery. Cancellation before production starts may be possible—contact us. Details: Legal notice & refund policy.
Q. What happens to my backup data?
A. Processed in our controlled local environment; we delete backups within about 30 days after PNG delivery. We do not resell data or upload it to public cloud sharing.
